My motto is... Just Do It!
Newly created...Easy Internet Selling is now about selling your jewelry creations using your Etsy Shop & Facebook.
Written for the beginner, I outline each step you need to take in an easy to read ebook.
With my ebook in hand you will be able to navigate through the Facebook site with ease.
I am here to help you and I am please to tell you that I am here for you!
Here's the skinny:
I started out by selling on eBay and I was selling under 7 different names for almost 11 years. During that time I learned the in's and out's of eBay's site, found out what worked for me and more importantly...what did not work.
I wrote my first ebook about selling on eBay and how to sell your jewelry creations. Then eBay got big, and in my opinion, their heads swelled up and they forgot all about the little Mom & Pop's small sellers who helped create their popular site. Eventually they forced these small sellers out by hiking the fees, etc.
More selling sites emerged and a lot of old sellers went to the River (Amazon) marketplace and by the way, it is huge right now and did you know that you can sell your jewelry creations there also?
In the travels to the River, jewelry makers chose mostly to go to Etsy. After all you could have your own shop there for pennies, and also have a presence on the Internet. The rules of Etsy was you had to make the item. Now other items are allowed such as Vintage items, Supplies & Tutorials. Someday they may allow more items as things are always constantly changing.
The problem currently with Etsy is that the site is flooded with handmade jewelry and has become saturated. Lookers get tired clicking through their pages one by one and not find what you are looking for. I know that if I have not found the item I was looking for after 10-20 pages, I either leave or go elsewhere. Keep in mind that you must go to their site to see what is available.
Now enters the Facebook site...400 million registered users as of May 2010! Are you one of them?
Perhaps you go to Facebook every now and then, you don't visit very often. Many others are just like you...but there are others who LIVE there, eat and perhaps sleep there. They have TONS of Facebook friends. I am there, too, so I will friend you. You have 100 friends and they "friend" me, too.
My list of friends just grew by 100. Now just multiply that number by how many times each of those friends make that same step.
Well, you might ask what does this have to do with selling?
Well, you list your item today on your Etsy shop and it stays on Etsy; but if you post on Facebook about your new item, and then your WHOLE Etsy page shows up on your Facebook page for all your friends to see, and their friends, too! Not just your one item for the 15 minutes on the front page of Etsy!
Which would you rather have?
Who will see your item on the front page of Etsy? Well, only those who happen to be viewing the front page at that precise 15 minutes!
With Facebook, your friends, their friends, and their friends friends and MORE will see your posting about your new item! Well I don't know about you, but that sounds great to me!
Each day make another post on Facebook and list your item on your Etsy page and they are seen everyday and as everytime you make a post.
What's important is that you post regularly, that you follow the steps in my ebook.
So if Etsy's 20 cents listing fee is too expensive, then their is another way to have Facebook present your items for free. Yes, for FREE! There is another avenue that I will present to you, and it will be FREE to my 2010 buyers.
It's a WIN/WIN solution.
It is about 31 pages printed and can be sent to your computer after payment is received through the Payloadz site.. automatically.
You could be reading tonight and be connecting with potential customers, friends and family tomorrow.
Have you ever wanted to show your jewelry creations, or have a website presence without knowing all the tricky coding that is required.
Now Facebook and Etsy can assist you whether you want to sell, or just show your designs.
I have a reputation that is solid as I have been selling my jewelry creations since 1999. You can trust me to be here for you.
