From the author of
“Easy Internet
Selling”, Cheryl
Coccaro.
Would you like to
get paid to refer
others to my eBook?
If you answer ‘yes’,
then I want to pay
you for simply
encouraging your
viewers to my
website and if they
make a purchase, you
will be rewarded.
Some of the people
that you refer over
to me will buy my
ebook, and you will
get paid when they
do…directly by
Clickbank.
By following the
simple step-by-step
instructions on the
next few pages you
will begin to get
paid.
If you still have
questions about this
affiliate program
please send a blank
email to: affiliate@easyinternetselling.com
Thanks,
Cheryl Coccaro
I have devised a
FREE program that
you can set up today
that will
automatically pay
you *25% of any
money I make from
your customers that
you refer to this
website.
I’ll explain the
entire SIMPLE system
below. Note – you
are not selling
anything. You are
simply telling your
viewers about a
woman that knows
what she’s talking
about.
Summary of my
affiliate program:
You simply place an
HTML code
that I provide you
below
on your eBay ‘about
me’ page or your
website. Using that
code, we will track
and reward you for
any future sales of
my ebook made to
anyone you refer to
my website.
I am extremely
flexible about the
manner in which you
promote my ebook.
The only thing
you can’t
do is
sell my ebook
yourself in an eBay
auction or on your
website.
There is no reason
for you not to try
this. You can refer
people to me and
I’ll do the rest!
You are never
charged anything for
participating!
This program does
work!
Step 1:
Get a cup of coffee,
or something to
drink. Relax – this
is painless and
FREE! :0)
Important note:
Educate yourself for
a couple of minutes
about Clickbank's
site. We are going
to take advantage of
a free service they
offer.
ClickBank - ClickBank is the
company that will
automatically pay
both of us when my
ebook gets sold. You
will be considered
one of my
‘affiliates’ by
ClickBank. Read
about how the
affiliate program
works. I put this
step in here so you
can be comfortable
about this process.
Clickbank's Site-
is where you can
read about be coming
a CLICKBANK
AFFILIATE.
Once you are
comfortable with
ClickBankgo ahead
and register (it’s
free) as an
affiliate by
clicking here:
Write down your
Clickbank ID (or
nickname) – you’ll
need it again in a
couple minutes.
(Note: You need to
note your nickname
or ID, not your
password.)
Step 2: For Your
About Me Page or
your website:
Set up (or edit)
your ‘about me’ page
on eBay.
Log in - if you
aren’t logged in
eBay will prompt you
to at this point.
Click on the “Create
and edit your about
me page” button. If
you don’t see that
link, simply visit
anyone’s about me
page on eBay and
scroll to the bottom
of the page. At the
bottom of all about
me pages is a link
to create your own
(assuming you have
an eBay account).
Step 3:
Begin setting up
your ‘about me’
page. (Or, if you
have a page already,
begin editing it.)
Of course you can do
anything you want on
your ‘about me’
page, but you are
hoping to sell more
of your own stuff,
as well as direct
people to the HTML
affiliate link we
created above in
order to get people
to visit my website
and possibly
generate some future
sales.
There are several
ways to accomplish
this next step.
Experiment with the
look of the page
until you are happy,
but this next step
is the most
important step of
the whole process.
Here is our magic
URL (or link):
Important note:
Substitute the XXXXX
in the below code
with your Clickbank
affiliate ID (or
nickname) from step
‘B’ before pasting
the link to your
eBay page.
The question mark
must remain in the
link – don’t delete
it.
You need the
following code on
your about me page
or website:
************
<font face=verdana
size=2>Click
Here to read about
how to sell your
jewelry creations on
eBay written by
Cheryl Coccaro.<a
href="http://hop.clickbank.net/?XXXXX/eisbk1945"
target="_blank"
onmouseover="window.status='http://www.easyinternetselling.com';return
true;" onmouseout="window.status='
';return
true;">Click
Here</a> </font>
************
(NOTE: The link
above will look like
“www.easyinternetselling.com”
on your browser, but
the ClickBank
affiliate
information is
hidden in the
link.
Step 4:
Now we need to copy
our HTML link and
paste it to the
‘about me’ page or a
page on your
website.
When setting up your
‘about me’ page, you
can include this URL
in the “Welcome
Message” text
section, the
“another paragraph”
text section, or if
you know some HTML
put it ANYWHERE on
the ‘about me’ page.
Be careful not to
violate eBay policy
by saying something
like “buy this
book!”
Step 5:
You'll need to give
your 'eBay shoppers'
the opportunity to
click over to your
'about me' page from
within your
auctions. You could
simply ask your eBay
shoppers to “Please
visit my eBay about
me page” in your
auctions, but we
have better plans.
We want maximum
traffic on our
‘about me’ page
right?
To do this you will
use the following
HTML in all of your
auctions from now
on. You will have to
personalize this
link a bit before
you use it – I’ll
help you below.
The above HTML will
look like this in
your auction:
Please visit my
About
Me
Page!
The blue and red
“About Me” is a link
to your about
me page.
Replace the YOUR ID
portion of that code
with your actual
eBay ID before
adding it to your
auctions.
eBay allows you to
send shoppers to
your about me page
with a link in your
auctions. EBay
regulations don’t
allow you to
blatantly “sell”
with your wording
when you send people
to your about me
page, but they are
fine with a friendly
invitation or even
strong
encouragement. Read
the eBay “link
policies” to stay up
to date on what is
allowed.
Final thoughts:
If you aren’t
selling much on eBay
right now, you won’t
have much
credibility no
matter what you put
on your ‘about me’
page. I’m here to
help you think
creatively about
what you should do
on your ‘about me’
page.
Use your hoplink
anywhere you’d like
to recommend my
ebook – you’ll get
paid every time my
ebook is sold!
Your Clickbank
hoplink is:
http://hop.clickbank.net/?XXXXX/eisbk1945
Simply replace the
XXXXXX
with your Clickbank
nickname
(the question
mark must stay
in the link)
When you put your
Clickbank ‘hoplink’
in your email
signature.
Put your ‘hoplink’
on your payment
requests to winning
bidders on eBay!
You can promote
anything you want to
your customers that
have already bought
from you!
Put the ‘hoplink’ on
your website if you
have one.
To summarize, you
get paid for putting
a simple link (that
I provide you for
free) on your eBay
‘about me’ page or
your website.
Specifically, if a
customer of yours
clicks the link I
give you and then
goes on to buy
anything from my
website, then you
get paid by
Clickbank.
Step by step it
looks like this:
1. A viewer in one
of your auctions or
websites chooses to
visit my sales page
by clicking the link
on your about me
page or your
website.
2. That same viewer
sees and clicks the
link to my sales
page on my website.
Once they click on
your link to my
website, they are
automatically
assigned to you as a
lead by Clickbank.
3. If they go on to
buy right then, you
get 25%. Also, if at
some point in the
next 3 months that
customer returns to
my website and
chooses to buy my
ebook you will
automatically get
25% of the sale
because of the
tracking or cookie
technology that is
used to ensure
proper credit.
4. How is the book
delivered to
customers?
Customers are
granted access to
the download site as
soon as they buy.
You don’t have to do
anything – just
refer them to my
site. The sales
process is totally
automated.
5. How do I get
paid?
Clickbank is a very
reliable online
payment service. I
have processed
thousands of dollars
of orders with them
as well as thousands
of dollars of
affiliate payments
with them. I have
set up Clickbank to
automatically give
all of my affiliates
25% of every sale
that is made.
Clickbank charges a
fee tome (see
clickbank.com for
fee schedule) so you
get 25% after fees.
6. How often am I
paid?
Twice per month
you’ll get a check
from ClickBank.com.
They will let the
amount accumulate to
over $25 (or more if
you choose) before
sending your check.
To adjust your
minimum check amount
log in to your
Clickbank account.
Since they charge a
small fee to cut a
check it might be
wise to raise the
minimum dollar
amount of your
checks.
7. What if I want to
stop promoting your
book on my 'About
Me' page at some
point in the future?
You are promoting my
ebook on my sales
page and you aren’t
selling anything.
If you do wish to
drop out of the
program though,
simply delete the
link from your
‘About me’ page or
your website. There
is no obligation on
your part to
continue to get paid
for referrals.
8. What about
returns?
If someone wants his
or her money back
both you and I will
have the sale
deleted from our
account.
ClickBank.com
handles this
automatically. If
you've already been
paid commission on
an ebook that is
‘returned’, the
return will be
withheld from your
next check.
You can direct any
questions to me, or
answer them yourself
if you know the
answer. You can tell
people; “I know the
author – I was
impressed with her
ebook and I think
you will be too –
send them an email
if you have
questions…contact
Cheryl directly.”
9. How do I know
that the customers I
refer to your
website will be
tracked? How do I
know I'll be paid?
Visit ClickBank.com
and read about their
affiliate programs.
They have a very
reliable system in
place. There is even
a screen you can
access that shows
you all the sales
that you have been
given credit for to
date.
Even if someone buys
my ebook 90 days
after you refer him
or her, you will get
credit! The
affiliate system is
very accurate and is
used reliably by
thousands of people.
10. Can't I just
sell the ebook
myself on eBay or my
website?
No.
You do not have
resell rights to
this ebook. You can
only sell it via
your affiliate link
as detailed in the
first part of this
guide but for now
YOU CANNOT SELL THIS
eBOOK. You can only
refer others to buy
it from me, and for
that you keep 25% of
the sale.
Keep in mind that we
are selling away a
product that teaches
others how to sell
more on eBay. We are
doing eBay a favor!
Appendix A:
How can I test my
affiliate link to
make sure it is
working?
I can’t test your
link for you - the
cookie in my system
gives credit to
someone else and
over-rides your
affiliate ID.
Here’s how you can
do it:
You can tell if the
affiliate link is
working correctly by
having a friend
click on your
ClickBank hoplink,
or by clicking your
link using a
different computer
(with a different IP
address than the one
you used to order my
book).
Why
can’t I use my own clickbank hoplink to test the system on
your own PC?
Answer: Clickbank uses cookie technology that protects us
(you and me) from people trying to use their own affiliate
ID when placing an order. To make a long story short – if
you place another order for my ebook using your computer
USING YOUR OWN HOPLINK the person that sent you to my
website the first time will still get credit for the sale –
not you. The cookie is set the first time, and can’t be
changed for 90 days. This protects both of us from people
that try to change the link just before they order.
The
only way around this is to clear the cookies from your
machine before you test the link.
Your friend doesn’t
have to buy the
book, but it has to
be a computer other
than yours doing the
test. I’ll explain
why you must use a
different computer
in a moment.
Once your friend
clicks the link have
them click on one of
the order links on
the main sales page.
The easiest order
link to find is just
below the image of
the book on the main
sales page.
From there they will
be on the credit
card page. That’s
the page where you
are prompted for a
credit card number.
Have them scroll all
the way to the
bottom left hand
corner of the page.
In that corner they
should see something
like this:
xxxxx/eisbk1945
If xxxxxx = your
clickbank ID, then
you are getting
credit and you will
get an affiliate
check from clickbank
automatically for
every ordering
customer that uses
your link.
